Beta 10: Establish a safe haven
To the LZ
This mission again has a 60-minute time limit. Загрузить a truck, a couple of AA units, and seven тяжелый combat units aboard the transport and send it to the LZ. Once landed, construct a Ремонтная мастерская and position the AA units north of the LZ to defend against Collective ВВС raids. Immediately call in for reinforcements of тяжелый combat units. The Collective will send a group of Киборги at you from the west and heavier units from the north. Repel both of these attacks and things should cool down for a bit.
Creating a Safe Haven
Bring in a ВВС group and a bombardment group. Send one of your combat groups north until they come in contact with enemy defenses. Then bring the bombardment group forward to begin its attack. Send the VTOLs into the middle of this enemy base to take out the ВВС Rearming Pads and the Завод, before attacking the defensive structures. When the base is nearly destroyed, send a combat group in to mop up and recover the Артефакт.
The Collective has a small outpost in the center. В атаку it with the bombardment group while your VTOLs begin assaulting the main Collective base north of this outpost. Take out the defenses that can attack ground units first so the combat groups can come help destroy the main base. Recover the Артефакт and begin researching it immediately.
Once the main base is destroyed, all that remains are a few defensive structures. Use the VTOLs and the bombardment group to eradicate the last Collective presence in the area. Then bring all of your units back to the LZ to end the mission.
